SGM are please to introduce a smaller and more compact LED driver to its product portfolio. The ILD, The Installation LED Driver, shares a majority of the features of the TLD-612A, but it is designed for projects where space is a premium making it the obvious choice for permanent installations as well as for the touring market, where a small physical footprint is required.
Continuing the aesthetic design line of SGM products, the ILD is a unique Danish design, manufactured in Denmark.
SGM’s COO, Lars Madsen, comments: “The ILD is already being manufactured in our new factory in Denmark and we are ramping up production during the summer to meet the high demand”.
The ILD is also IP65 rated and has a daisy-chainable Ethernet for Art-Net input, besides having a maximum power consumption of 120W. As driver of the SGM pixel products, it can control either 6 pcs of LT-100, 3 pcs of LT-200 or 3 pcs of full length LB-100 strings (8 pcs of LB-100 per string).
L.E.D. Projects' MD, Ian Kirby, is in no doubt about the justice of this compact product on the market. "As SGM distributor on the UK market, we work with many club installations and see the need for an easy-to-install LED driver. Finally, someone understands the needs of the market."
