Recently, Illuminate Design used G-Spots and P-5s to enlighten Battersea Power Station as an iconic background for the annual Totally Thames Festival.
To tackle the task, Robin Shephard-Blandy, director for Illuminate Design chose the new SGM G-Spot. Robin said; "The G-spot was a perfect solution for this job, because of the site layout we needed to be alongside the river meaning we required a powerful light source to throw the distance. It was also important not to be limited with colour to best light the chimneys to enhance the flames within the site and on the building. One of the main factors in choosing the G-Spot was the IP rating meaning we were able to avoid housing fixtures in domes."
Addtionally, P-5s were also used to light Battersea's cranes giving an ethereal backdrop against the river Thames.
