C&C Lightway Inc. has been SGM’s Korean distributor since 2009, renewing their agreement in 2012 following the SGM transition to Denmark. At this year’s 24th KOBA show in Seoul, which as always focused on innovative broadcasting, audio and lighting equipment, C&C Lightway demonstrated the relevant SGM portfolio on their stand for more than 50,000 people who attended during the four-day event.
As Korea’s leader in stage lighting, broadcast studio lighting and architectural and landscape lighting, the company provided a broad range of services for their clients, and consequently experienced a successful show with an impressive product line up.
On display were the LS-4.6 LED screen, the G-spot moving head, the P-5 wash light, the Q-7 RGB wash blind strobe and the two LED strobes: X-5 and XC-5.
“The most impressive display was the G-Spot. We made a water box and put the G-Spot inside with water shooting at it,” explains Hwan-Soo Chung. “Everyone stopped and took photos of it.” He stated that he was extremely satisfied with the many inquiries during the show.
He continues: “The G-Spot sets new standards, with its IP65 function making it completely unnecessary to use domes. And the P-5 wash light provides an impressive brightness in its homogeneous colours.”
With many projects and installations in the pipeline, Hwan-Soo Chung sums up: “With the interest shown in SGM’s products we have high expectations for the future.”
