2014 has been a busy year for SGM’s Colombian distributor, Iluminación Jaime Dussán. Their entire SGM stock has been put to use for many high profile events throughout the year, and spokesperson for the company, Ms Andrea Dussán, explains: “The high interest for our SGM products is a result of the meticulousness and innovation which have gone into each fixture. They are well-executed and fulfill the needs’ of our market.”
The many events ranges from concerts with Metallica, One Direction, Deep Purple and Enrique Bumbury through Festivals such as Stereo Picnic Festival, Jamming Fest, Salsa al Parquet Fest, Rock al Parque Festival and Hip-Hop al Parque Festival to the television production Big Time Rush and the presidential inauguration at Palacio de Justicia Bogotá.
Very popular for several events were the LS-6.67 LED screens, which come in a robust yet slim display design carrying the great features of IP65 rating. Thereby, any outdoor event can be executed with no concern for the weather conditions. The brightness of 5,000 nits per sqm. and the pixel pitch of 6.67mm, these screens are ideal for ensuring a good picture quality even for the concert spectator who did not get first row seats.
The P-5 RGBW wash light and the Q-7 flood/blind/strobe in both RGBW and pure cool white (Q-7 W) were also often on the lighting designers’ specification. “These are all powerful units which meet the designers’ requests. They are LED based, IP65-rated and beyond bright,” says Andrea Dussán.
With such a successful year, Iluminación Jaime Dussán is now looking forward to continue the positive direction and can already inform that so far 2015 shows full of promise.
