Recently, our distributors from Argentina and Mexico went through technical training sessions at the SGM HQ. Thus, representatives from DistriSur in Argentina and Representaciones de Audio (RDA) in Mexico have now undergone comprehensive service training, preparing them for an intensive inspection on any issues regarding the SGM product line to ensure fast and accurate response to any incident. Each distributor is now able to function as an extension of the SGM Service Team in their respective local areas.
Area Sales Manager and Product Trainer of both these countries, Ben Díaz, participated in these sessions, and he is very pleased with the concept. “This is related to SGM’s mission of giving not only the best innovative solution for the years to come, but also the best support for our long-term users,” he says.
The technical product training is part of SGM’s International Training Academy, where sessions can be put together based on e.g. specific product groups. The particular seminar was related to P, Q and G series as well as the SixPack, for which these certified technicians are now authorized to offer technical maintenance.
Feature reviews, guidance in maintenance and replacement of components, SGM software tools and testing of IP65 validity after assembly with the SGM Vacuum Test Kit, were just some of the areas in which the participants received education.
