Lights in Alingsås has been an annual light event in Sweden since 1999. Light designers cooperate with design and architecture students on an intensive workshop week where they illuminate public spaces in different ways. The event attracts light designers and representatives from the lighting industry from all over the world. More than 80,000 visitors have attended the last couple of years.
The opening ceremony for the last edition took place in Åmanska Parken, featuring German lighting designer Herbert Cybulska, who used SGM G-spot moving heads and SGM P-5 wash lights to create an impressive setup in the beautiful park settings.
