Four-time Grammy nominee Steven Wilson kicked off his UK and European tour to support his new album Hand. Cannot. Erase at the Cambridge Corn Exchange.
Lighting designer Matthew Jensen recruited Hawthorn’s Mick Freer to create the visual impact for the UK gigs.Wilson’s brief, he said, was to create “a show that I hope will raise the bar both musically and visually from my previous tours.” As part of solving this request, Freer included SGM’s P-5 wash lights, which certainly helped ensure an impactful result.
Wilson finished his ten-country tour through April before heading across the pond for several dates in the USA and Canada.
