Golden Disco 2015 in Lithuania’s capital Vilnius took place on October 24th in Siemens Arena.
More than seven thousands 80’s fans were gathered for a walk down memory lane as well-known performers such as Londonbeat, Savage, Fancy and legendary Samantha Fox sang their golden hits.
SGM’s Lithuanian partner, event technical service provider Leggato, was tasked as technical supplier for the live concert, delivering and installing LED screens and projectors. 60 panels of their SGM LS-10 LED screens were deployed as centerpiece for the stage design in the shape of a circular, eye-catching video display.
The vision of video designer Kšyštof Šuškevič was to create a spinning globe – a bright disco ball, and Leggato used a circular truss to achieve the concept. The SGM LS-10 LED screens provide a 10 mm pixel pitch, perfect even for the audience in the back and offering a superior viewing angle of 140˚ which still allows observers to experience a complete focused display even in extreme viewing angles.
Leggato invested in the LS-10 screens this summer as part of their strategy to expand business with new technical opportunities. Informs Vainius Dauderys: “We want to be able to offer all-round and flexible solutions to our clients, and therefore we chose to add the LS-10 to our inventory.”
Nostalgia filled the venue as the audience sang along to the popular hits demanding repetition of Italian singer-songwriter Roberto Zanetti’s (under the pseudonym Savage) song ‘Goodbye’. The evening was concluded successfully to the satisfaction of both client and audience.
