Tower Bridge in London was the location for the live TV advert launching the new Samsung S8 and lighting designer Tim Routledge’s team pulled off the task in just two weeks from brief to delivery together with Neg Earth Lights.
To illuminate the Tower Bridge and the Tower of London for this huge event, Routledge deployed several SGM LED luminaires. The light package included no less than 100 P-5 wash lights, 26 Q-7 flood/blind/strobes and 30 G-Spot moving heads.
The fixtures were placed around the Thames and at the Tower of London without hindering the daily running of one of the busiest tourist sites in the world.
Matt Pitman, Tom Young and Alex Mildenhall ensured the linking across the river by radio transmitted timecode for a stunning result.
