The G-Spot POI with full 'moving head' functionalities is designed and manufactured in Denmark and blends in with any contemporary or historical architecture. It has two independent effect wheels, 0%-100% variable frost, 4-facet rotating prism, and 72 built-in sensors, which allows full RDM monitoring. Base and heat sinks are made from extruded or pressure cast marine grade aluminum, Oxsilan ® pre-treated, and powder coated to corrosion class C5-M marine grade. The yoke and fan covers are made of durable materials, including impact and UV resistant P6.
This tough and reliable LED luminaire includes a powerful 750W RGB LED engine, capable of generating deep saturates with smooth color transitions. The G-Spot POI delivers a staggering lumen output not only in white, but also in color, and is able to achieve 4663 lumens in red, 3571 lumens in green, and 1446 lumens in blue. Because of its impressive blue and red output, the G-Spot POI is able to generate color palettes with warm pale hues, bright cold tones, outstanding magentas, and cyans. The projector offers an ultra-smooth movement, which enables spectacular and eye catching projections from a great distance. The LEDs' expected lifetime is 50,000 hours.
The G-Spot POI has full RGB color mixing and is one of the brightest and most accurate luminaires ever made in terms of color output. It was designed to match all the colors present in the SGM range; achieving deep reds, warm pastels, blue saturates, bright magentas, and soft turquoises, giving you almost unlimited colors for your creative combinations. When it comes to solid colors, the G-Spot POI outperforms any discharge lamp with CMY color mixing, no matter the wattage. Despite the wide range of colors, this projector was also made to impact the audience with a calibrated white, available in all color temperatures from 2000K - 10000K.
With a motorized 8° to 43°º zoom range, an additional pseudo zoom down to 1º, and motorized focus, the G-Spot POI can illuminate any building and is the ideal luminaire for large outdoor applications. Being water, dirt, and sand proof, the internal optics are always clean to get the maximum brightness from the light source. Worst case scenario, the front lens must merely be wiped off, effectively eliminating the need for cleaning and maintenance, which is a huge time and cost saver.
The durable IP66-rating of the G-Spot POI luminaire ensures that the fixture is kept free from externally induced particles and liquids on internal electronics, optics, and light sources, including acidic air pollution, making it ideally suited for near- and offshore areas with high salinity. The internal built-in dehumidifier protects this fixture from moisture, pollution, and any other factors that can generate corrosion. The patented SGM dehumidification, not only removes humidity, but also prevents oxidation and condensation, while a Gore-Tex ® membrane equalizes internal pressure to prevent leaks. Sharp gobo projection
One of the big benefits of the G-Spot POI is its sharp and detailed gobo projection, with no color aberration in the borders or hotspots in the centre of the beam. The G-Spot POI uses glass gobos not affected by the heat, so the pattern is always fully focused with two independent rotatable gobo wheels - each with 5 indexable gobos + open. Since the RGB colors in the G-Spot POI are bright and contrasted, it is possible for the user to combine them with the gobos without losing much output. This gives you ultimate freedom and unmatched possibilities to create unsurpassed large-scale effects and spectacular animations and patterns.
To achieve optimum performance of the LEDs at all times, this bright and accurate luminaire is optimized to manage heat impact through SGM's unique thermal management technology. The technology consists of a uniquely designed body and heat sink, which ensures optimal cooling of the LED chips. Additionally, the special aluminum alloy and surface treatment ensures maximum heat dispersion while the fan-assisted cooling ensures optimal performance at any time and under any conditions (such as variable temperatures, limited airflows, confined installation spaces, etc.).

The G-Spot POI can be mounted in any direction. Additionally, M-10 bolts are included, which ensures the fixture can be tightly screwed to a surface, protecting it from both vandalism and theft. The M-10 bolts are suitable for any kind of custom-made bracket and are included with all POI fixtures. POI Omega brackets are available as accessories. Handles can be found in the base as well to help users mount the fixture.
Included SGM technologies
This thermal management techonology provides Advaced Temperature Control monitored via sensors and software, keeping optimal LED junction temperatures, and ensuring maximum reliability for long-term use. SGM's predictive color mixing algorithm compesates the decay levels of color-based LEDs for superior color rendering. Finally, the ThermalDriveTM system includes cutting-edge heat removal via passive thermal tecniques and active forced-air cooling (depending on the product), specifically designed to maintain LED efficiency while extending fixture's lifetime.
SGM uses Full Range Calibration in all LED fixtures over CIE space and black body curve, measured via spectrometer and SGM Illumination Lab software. The consistency of each product and its lifetime expectancy is monitored throught inbuilt sensors to compensate color shifting and to allow color temperature re-calibration. To provide the best user experience, SGM's Color Match procedure ensures accurate wavelength reproduction within the product range via colored LEDs, dichroic filters, or CMY mixing (depending on the product); all of them specified to match the SGM color palette.
SGM's integrated patented Dehumidification process eliminates humidity and breaks down corrosive molecules deriving from polluted air to avoid destructive corrosion. Inbuilt dehumidifiers constantly remove trapped hydrogen from inside of the lighting fixture in a solid estate electrolytic process with no moving parts. The DryTechTM procedure is also based on a Ingress Protection rating of 65 or 66 (depending on the fixture), intended as a full protection against dust and other particles, while ensuring protection against direct water jets.
