P-10 brings the punch to Birds of Prey
The 40,000 lumen output, 10º optimized throw of the P-10 enhances the visual effects in Margot Robbie's movie
Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) is an explosive and colorful addition to the DC universe. The highly anticipated follow-up to DC Entertainment's Suicide Squad, the movie features big, bold colors and looks throughout.

The best complement for visual effects
A "heavy on multi-color LED" rig, Gaffer Mike Bauman used SGM P-10s in several scenes to add a "great, punchy big source" to the mix of lighting equipment. To help provide the power needed to compliment the visual effects explosion in the opening scene, P-10s were included on a custom flown rig which helped extend the explosion down a road.
Additionally, each luminaire was pixel mapped for complete control. Bauman adds "it was a really effective approach for what we were looking for."
The largest luminaire in the P range, the P-10 is one the most powerful IP rated production luminaires available. Delivering over 40,000 lumens, with multiple lens options, and complete color and CTC control, the P-10 is a great choice for anything from outdoor filming to lighting large architecture.
