When combined with holographic filter frames, this extender works as a very useful accessory for creating an even lightbox out of a regular P-6 or Q-8. It was specifically designed to achieve solid direct-view looks and soft textures, while keeping the punch and increasing beam control.
The Filter frame extender can be attached to the front of the fixture via integrated magnets. This creates a 3cm high black frame that directs the throw and reduces the spill on the sides. A medium, wide, or elliptical frame can be then place on top, creating a diffused surface for eye-candy effects, color backgrounds, and soft pixel mapping patterns.
This lightweight accessory also includes a bolt in the corner for attaching a third-party safety wire, and it is fully compatible with existing Filter Frames for P-6 and Q-8.
