Tuesday, December 6th we hosted the first SGM Summit at our HQ in Aarhus, Denmark. Our guests were Lighting Designers and Lighting people from European and Russian rental companies. 

The Summit included a red-carpet welcome session with drinks and socializing, followed by a tour of our manufacturing facilities, test lab and R&D. SGM CEO, Peter Johansen, also gave a speech, including a presentation of SGM’s philosophy and extensive product range. The event continued with a gourmet dinner and drinks into the early hours.  

As part of a new strategic initiative, this event is the first in a series of events coming up at SGM. Peter Johansen explained:
“We are doing this to ensure that our friends in the industry know what SGM is all about and feel part of the company. We would not be where we are today without such a great network of people in the industry who support us, and this is our way of saying thank you.”

Peter Johansen was extremely overwhelmed and happy that so many people would take the time to visit the SGM HQ on a Tuesday in the busy month of December:
“Once again, I can conclude that we have the best supporters and partners we could wish for. I like to get to know everyone, and the SGM Summit offered the perfect opportunity for that. Thanks everyone for coming!”
