With the introduction of the innovative R-2 LED rail light series, SGM has revolutionized rail lights, as we know them today. The new lighting concept gives the user full control and offers a unique and personal experience; whether it is installed in a museum, an exhibition, a center, a hall, a trade show, a club, a shop, or any other application.
LED Technology
This LED-based track light offers a superior dimming performance for smooth fades, dynamic color change through RGB mixing, and flicker-free operation. The LEDs expected lifetime is 50,000 hours.
Photometrics
Weighing only 1 kg/2.2 lbs., the R-2 RGBA has a light output of 589 lumen with an optical efficacy of 13.6 lm/w. It comes with a º front lens, but there is an optional 13°º lens available for a more diffuse and soft light.
Wireless control
With the R-2 RGBA, it is possible to control a complete light setup via wireless DMX. This means that dimming the light to change the mood, changing the color settings, or even adjusting it according to the season of the year can be carried out in an instance - even from a distance. Automatically programmed schedules or alterations can all be done manually, providing endless possibilities. This opens up for many new opportunities to create dynamic and vibrant environments.
C-5 Wireless DMX Controller
With the application software C-5 Wireless DMX Controller developed by SGM, it is now possible to set up different modes to fit the specific needs during different seasons, special events, day and night hours, or the entire year in an easy way. All of this can be pre-scheduled, eliminating the hassle and worries about turning it on or off in the future.
Modes
Day mode: The objects or space can be illuminated to any exact specifications, even according to the nature of the items on display. For instance, for shop environments, a warm light for shoes and leather goods and a cold and crisp light for silver and jewelry.
Eco mode: Being LED-based, the R-2 is, of course, by nature very eco-friendly and economic in terms of energy consumption. Taking it a step further, it is possible to type in the energy budget for the day and the system will adjust accordingly. The system can be set to monitor the lighting level coming from natural light and increase or decrease the light setting accordingly; i.e. this mode is a cost-conscious selection, driving down the power budget.
Night mode: The operation can be pre-programmed in regards to how it should look and act after opening hours and during evening events. Through different sensors and displays, the lighting can be adjusted to attract attention when people pass by.
Intelligent light system
The R-2 RGBA is extremely intelligent in terms of adapting to a specific environment. As people stop by a sensor connected to the system, it is possible to activate a preset light sequence that will attract attention to a specific highlighted area. Interaction is possible via a displayed QR code that when scanned with a smartphone will allow the user to gain control with predefined areas.
Via the built-in system intelligence, operations around the globe can be set to have the same light settings and can be changed globally from the brand headquarters. This ensures a coherent corporate identity.
Flexibility
R-2 RGBA comes in different beam angles, depending on type and configuration, to fulfill the requirements for most applications. Further, these rail lights are available in both black and white housings, so that they color-wise can blend into existing installations.
The R-2 series also comprises of 3000K and 4000K white LED rail lights.
Mounting options
The track adapter system makes it ideal for retrofitting an entire setup with the most commonly used 3-circuit tracks available on the market today. This can be done in a few easy steps, as it is unnecessary to pull new cables.
