Mount Faber Peak comes back to life with SGM P-5 POI

Home of the Singapore Cable Car, an iconic symbol since 1974, Mount Faber Peak is the only hilltop destination in Singapore with breath-taking scenic views of the harbour, Sentosa, and the Singapore skyline.

 Rising approximately 94meters over the town of Bukit Merah in the Central Region of Singapore, the Mount Faber Park attraction park had to receive a complete overhaul, due to the state of neglect it had reached during the reduced operational capacity forced on by the Covid pandemic.

 Reopened in December 2021, Mount Faber Park now exhibits top of the line SGM P-5 POI fixtures, powerful enough to give new life to one of the oldest parks in Singapore.

 Lighting designer Marc Brandon, from AVL Acoustic Systems Pte Ltd., relied on the SGM POI range, selecting a total of 24x P-5 43 Degrees POI fixtures from the P-Series that provided an excellent result.

 SGM’s P-5 POI is a powerful IP66-rated outdoor RGBW LED wash light engineered with a compact design and calibrated consistent colors, suitable for any architectural application that requires high output over long distances. 

Challenges and complications did not stop the impeccable work performed by the engineers tasked with the installation, and new collaborations have already emerged from this experience, such as the marvellous upcoming World Water Day and the much anticipated NDP 2022.
